A must-have for container gardening, and especially hanging baskets! These all-natural wool pellets reduce watering and fertilize your plants. Just mix the pellets with potting soil or into your garden soil. The wool pellets absorb water and can hold up to 20 times their weight in water while still maintaining oxygen for your plants. They also create porosity for better root development. In tests, wool pellets reduced watering by 25%. The pellets are also an all-natural, slow-release fertilizer (9-0-2), feeding plants for up to six months. These wool pellets are made in the U.S.A. by sheep farmers looking to reduce wool waste. They are OMRI listed organic. To use wool pellets, just mix ½ cup of pellets to 1 gallon of soil; or sprinkle the pellets around existing plants and push or work into the soil.

Plants will be shipped at the proper planting time for your area of the country using the shipping timeframes outlined below. We continually monitor weather conditions for extreme hot or cold and adjust shipping schedules as needed. Due to hot weather conditions, we are unable to ship most plant items in July and August. Items that are overweight will require an additional shipping charge depending on weight.

In all cases, we choose the fastest, most efficient way to send your orders via the U.S. Postal Service or FedEx. Large orders or large items may be shipped to you in multiple packages.
