Product Description

  • Heirloom variety produces high yields
  • Meaty, nearly seedless pear-shaped fruits
  • Tops for canning and sauces
  • Also good for salsa and dehydrating
  • Determinate variety
This heirloom variety of tomato produces a high yield of pear-shaped red fruit with thick walls, meaty texture, and only a few seeds. The roma tomato variety, sometimes called plum tomatoes or Italian tomatoes, are a favorite for cooking into sauce and canning. Because the Roma tomato contains less moisture than many other varieties, they are also a top choice for chopping into salsas and dehydrating for sun-dried tomatoes. A determinate, the Roma tomato plant produces tomatoes that ripen at about the same time. For the best flavor, allow your Roma tomatoes to ripen on the vine. Disease Resistance: F V. Expect approximately 75 days to mature Roma tomato fruit. See below for additional growing information.
