If you love making dill pickles, you'll love Sassy Hybrid Cucumbers. The very disease-resistant vines produce picture-perfect, green fruits that are crisp and plump. We recommend picking at the 3-5 in. stage for delicious pickles—or let them grow to 6-10 in. and slice for fresh eating and salads. Cucumber seeds can be started indoors in the spring and transplanted to the garden; seeds can also be directly sown into the garden. Cucumbers can be grown in hills—or plant them near a fence or trellis and let the vines climb for easy picking. 57 DAYS
