A delightful addition to shade and woodland gardens, Samurai Variegated Toad Lily's intricate, orchid-like flowers add color to the late summer and early fall garden. The white flowers with purplish-red tones are speckled and splashed with yellow hues. The sleek, variegated foliage stays attractive for months. Growing 14-18 in. tall, this compact perennial is suitable for container gardening and can be used as a ground cover. It naturalizes into non-invasive colonies over time. Plant in partial to full shade. Once established, Samurai Variegated Toad Lily will tolerate dry shade. Zones 4-8.
