- Very high yields

- Excellent flavor
- Ideal for home gardens
- Resists goss wilt
This is one of the most rewarding popcorn varieties for home gardeners to grow. The large, orange-grained kernels will literally "pop the lid off" with massive, fluffy popcorn when popped. Pops the Lid Off Hybrid Popcorn is easy to grow and produces high yields of popcorn that has great flavor. It's goss wilt tolerant. Popcorn seed, like sweet corn, should be sown when the weather is warm and all danger of frost has passed. Ears should be left to dry on the stalk. For popping, the ears should have a moisture content of 13% percent. To test, pop a sample batch. Once at the appropriate moisture level, harvest and husk the popcorn. Shell and store in an airtight container. 105 DAYS.
