Morning Lilac Itoh Peony

  • Large and Lovely Flowers: Uniquely hued, 7-9" blooms boast a blend of vibrant fuchsia-purple and creamy tones.
  • Extended Blooming Period: Enjoy a prolonged season of stunning blooms that start early and last up to six weeks.
  • Hardy and Resilient: With robust growth and low maintenance, this peony reliably delivers its vivid colors year after year.
Quite possibly the perfect peony, Itoh (pronounced EE-toh) is a cross between the tree peony and herbaceous peony. Large, showy flowers are produced on extremely sturdy stems traditionally found only on tree varieties. Reliable and easy to grow, like herbaceous peonies they return each spring from the ground. Once established, Itoh peonies (also called intersectional peonies) produce up to 50 blooms in a single season! All these traits, plus a unique and varied selection of bloom colors make these varieties quite collectible among peony lovers. Morning Lilac, Scarlet Heaven— bareroot. Julia Rose, Bartzella—2-3 eye bareroot. Zones 4-7.
