Consistently bears heavy yields of large, beautiful, crimson fruit. From the Cornell Research Station in New York, Honeoye Junebearing Strawberry is very winter hardy and a top choice among home gardeners for over 30 years. The firm, large berries have a good flavor and hold up well for freezing. Their rich color carries over into jams and wine, too. The vigorous plants produce high yields of easy-to-pick berries in June. The perennial plants are disease resistant and easy to grow. Self-pollinating. Zones 3-8.
