Intense Sweet Tart Flavor

Has the highest antioxidant level of any blueberry. Small, dark blueberries are perfect for pies, muffins and pancakes, but are too delicious to pass up fresh. You can't find flavor like this in the grocery! Strong 4- to 6-ft. bush is cold hardy and a consistent provider. Foliage turns bright fire red in the fall. Matures in early August. Zones 3-7.

Soil Requirements: Acidic, moist, organic, well-drained soil. pH should be 4.5 to 5.5.
Growth Rate: Takes 3 to 4 years for top hat blueberry bush to mature and start providing fruit.
Pruning: Blueberries should be pruned during the winter while the bushes are dormant. In winter, flower buds are easily visible on one-year-old wood and their numbers can be adjusted by pruning to regulate the crop load for the coming year.
