A favorite of organic gardeners, Dried Bat Guano is a natural fertilizer that quickly releases nitrogen into the soil while also providing needed phosphorous and potassium. With an NPK of 7-3-1, it's ideal for plants that are heavy feeders and need a nitrogen boost. Gardeners report that it increases the sweetness and flavor of edible plant parts while also helping with disease resistance.

While Dried Bat Guano quickly delivers nitrogen, it does not burn the plants like some synthetic fertilizers have been known to do. Like other natural plant foods, Dried Bat Guano does not leach out of your soil easily--and improves your soil structure and health. Best of all, bat guano is a renewable resource and requires no mining.

Coverage:

For new plantings, apply 1-2 tsp. per 1 gallon of soil.

For transplants, apply 1-2 tsp. per hole.

For existing plantings, apply 1-2 lbs. per 100 sq. ft.

Plants will be shipped at the proper planting time for your area of the country using the shipping timeframes outlined below. We continually monitor weather conditions for extreme hot or cold and adjust shipping schedules as needed. Due to hot weather conditions, we are unable to ship most plant items in July and August. Items that are overweight will require an additional shipping charge depending on weight.

In all cases, we choose the fastest, most efficient way to send your orders via the U.S. Postal Service or FedEx. Large orders or large items may be shipped to you in multiple packages.
