Made from the same plant materials you might use in your home compost pile, like grass clippings, brush, wood chips, shredded paper and straw, Gardener's Gold™ contains no animal manures, sludge or industrial wastes, which other bagged composts may contain. Gardener's Gold improves the soil's chemical and biological properties, creating a pH buffer and increasing the soil's ability to hold water and suppress weed seeds. At the same time, it supplies your soil with nutrients, organic matter and beneficial soil microbes that increase growth potential, all at the steady rate of a slow-release fertilizer.

Plants will be shipped at the proper planting time for your area of the country using the shipping timeframes outlined below. We continually monitor weather conditions for extreme hot or cold and adjust shipping schedules as needed. Due to hot weather conditions, we are unable to ship most plant items in July and August. Items that are overweight will require an additional shipping charge depending on weight.
