Fenugreek Sprouts
Nutritious and Easy to Grow
Fenugreek sprouts have a unique, nutty, sweet flavor, making them a favorite for sandwiches, stir-fries, soups and snacking. Sometimes called "superfoods," they are high in alkaloids, lysine and L-tryptophan. Like other sprouts, Fenugreek sprouts can be grown indoors year-round in a seed sprouter or other container. Growing best between 65-75 degrees F, sprout seeds germinate in 1-3 days and are ready for harvest at 3-7 days. Sprouts are ready to eat when they reach a few centimeters long and are most tender when they are small. 4 oz. (about 11 tablespoons of seed).
