Growing 12 ft. tall and sometimes taller, Early Wonderful is very ornamental, too, producing large, orange-red flowers. A very productive variety, its fruits ripen in late September to early October. Self-fertile and drought tolerant. Requires less than 200 chilling hours below 45 degrees F. Cold hardy to zone 9.
