Caracas Carrot Seed

Ideal for Containers and Clay Soil

Want to grow carrots, but don't have the ideal soil? Caracas Carrots can be grown in containers and clay soil. Sometimes called baby carrots, this Chantenay-type grows 2-3 inches long and is quicker to mature than larger carrots. The rich orange carrots are sweetly flavored and coreless—perfect for snacking and salads. Carrot seed can be planted in the spring, about two weeks before the last spring frost date, or planted in the summer, about 10-12 weeks before the first fall frost day. Carrots grow best when planted in full sun. 70 DAYS.
