Biloxi Southern Highbush Blueberry Plant

Two crops in the Deep South!

  • Evergreen plant in zones 9-10
  • Highly productive and vigorous
  • Berries have good, distinctive flavor
  • Self-fruitful, cross pollinate for bigger berries
Biloxi Southern Highbush Blueberry is a no chill or low chill (less than 150 chill hours) blueberry, so it's ideal for coastal areas and zones 9-10 where the bush is fully evergreen. The plants produce light blue, medium-sized, firm berries with a distinct, excellent flavor. They're great for eating fresh, in fruit salads, desserts and preserves. Growing 5-6 ft. tall, the hybrid plants are upright, vigorous and productive. In the Deep South, Biloxi will produce two crops annually. The main crop ripens in mid-season. While the plants are self-fertile, they'll produce larger berries when cross pollinated with another blueberry plant. Zones 8-10.
