Southern Grove Cabbage
Zones 7-10
Cabbage is something of a classic cold weather crop, but with the right selection, care, and attention, you can grow cabbage in the South. Gurney's Southern Grove collection offers heat-tolerant cabbage adapted to Zones 7-10. You'll find that these selections also offer excellent disease resistance. We recommend planting cabbage in spring or fall, and providing plenty of moisture. Consider providing partial shade or using shade cloth during the hottest parts of the day to protect the cabbage plants from intense sun exposure, too. Most importantly, try our guaranteed-success cold-weather crops with Southern Grove Gardens!
