This cross between broccoli and Chinese broccoli produces a mid crown and numerous shoots--so you'll get a longer harvest window and more tender, sweeter shoots than traditional heading broccoli. And, it's packed with vitamins and minerals too. Montebello Hybrid Sprouting Broccoli was a top performer in the spring and fall at our Ohio test farm, and we loved eating the tender shoots steamed, in stir-fry and raw. While this cool season crop can be grown in the spring and fall gardens, you'll get the best flavor in the fall as the days shorten and get colder. 80 DAYS.

Plants will be shipped at the proper planting time for your area of the country using the shipping timeframes outlined below. We continually monitor weather conditions for extreme hot or cold and adjust shipping schedules as needed. Due to hot weather conditions, we are unable to ship most plant items in July and August. Items that are overweight will require an additional shipping charge depending on weight.
