This cross between broccoli and Chinese broccoli produces a mid crown and numerous shoots so you'll get a longer harvest window and more tender, sweeter shoots than traditional heading broccoli. And, it's packed with vitamins and minerals too. Montebello Hybrid Sprouting Broccoli was a top performer in the spring and fall at our Ohio test farm, and we loved eating the tender shoots steamed, in stir-fry and raw. While this cool season crop can be grown in the spring and fall gardens, you'll get the best flavor in the fall as the days shorten and get colder. 80 DAYS.
