What are the best shade trees to plant in your yard?
When selecting shade trees for your yard, take into account your grow zone and the space you have available for a tree. Some shade trees, such as the Sugar Maple Tree, grow quite large—up to 75 ft. tall with a similar spread. Other considerations are the trees' growth rates. Some grow slowly—and others, like our Hybrid Poplar are fast-growing shade trees and provide shade in a hurry.
