The 4-lobed, blocky, bell-shaped peppers start green and turn to a purple-black hue that does not fade. If left on the plant, the fruits turn bright red. The fruits' bright, lime green interiors contrast beautifully with the dark exteriors. They'll add wonderful flavor, color and texture to relish trays and salads.
