Its sturdy, stalks produce large, 8- to 9-in. ears with 14-16 rows of creamy kernels. Resists many common corn diseases including Southern Leaf Blight, Northern Leaf Blight and Stewart's Wilt Disease. A (su) variety, it should be isolated from (sh2) varieties. For best results, sow Silver Queen Sweet Corn seed directly into the garden after soil temperatures have warmed to 60 degrees F. Plant in several short rows rather than one long one. 90 DAYS.
