This All-America Selections winner produces extra-large leaves that have a very strong, clove-like scent and showy, dark purple flowers. Also known as Thai basil, Siam Queen Sweet Basil is a favorite for flavoring Mediterranean, southeast Asian and Thai cuisines and curries. Its leaves can be used fresh or dried. Basil is a tender annual herb that's easy to grow and low maintenance. It performs best when planted in full sun. Siam Queen Sweet Basil is part of the Parfum de Bloom™ series. The varieties in this series are reliably, powerfully and delightfully fragrant.
