A top choice for roasting and baking, Purple Glazer Hardneck Garlic has a rich, garlicky flavor, with just a touch of sweetness and no hot kick or aftertaste. The large, elongated cloves, are wrapped in a purple-striped package. Each bulb has approximately 6-10 cloves. An artichoke-type, California White Softneck kicks up the heat a notch. Its large, plump bulbs with papery skins are bursting with excellent, spicy-hot flavors. Each bulb has approximately 10-20 cloves. A favorite for its color and spicy-hot flavor, German Red Hardneck's medium to deep red bulbs have approximately 10-15, easy-to-peel cloves per bulb. This garlic bulbs are excellent for fall planting—and are easy to grow in a sunny location with well-drained soil.
