Its attractive tops are flavorful, too. Harvest at the immature stage for sweet baby beets. It's a great all-around variety. Avalanche's uniform, creamy white roots have no red tinge, and its standout flavor is very sweet with no earthy flavor or bitterness. This 2015 All-America Selections award winner is an ideal choice to add to your spring or fall garden. Boldor has dark golden skin with a bright yellow interior. It is extra sweet and great for juicing, roasting and in salads. It grows quickly and retains its color when cooked. Red Cloud: 55-65 DAYS. Avalanche: 50 DAYS. Boldor: 55 DAYS.
