Easy-care, popular ornamental grass adds months of color and texture to the landscape. Growing 3-4 ft. tall, Maiden Grass has rounded clumps of dark green foliage that turns a burnished copper color in the winter. In the fall, tiny flowers appear in stately plumes above the foliage. The plumes, waving 5-7 ft. in the air, provide winter interest to the garden or landscape. They can also be cut for dried flower arrangements. A deer-resistant perennial grass, Maiden Grass performs best in when grown in full sun to partial shade. Zones 4-10.
