Sun-ripened nectarines are a summertime treat, and Karla Rose Nectarine is as beautiful as it is flavorful. The medium-sized fruits are blushed with red and the juicy, white flesh has a sweet, traditional nectarine flavor. Karla Rose Nectarine is well adapted to the Coastal and Lower South and into the reaches of Zone 8. It tolerates late frosts better than some nectarine varieties. Its blossoms are white to light pink. Its semi-freestone fruits ripen in June. Requires 700 chill hours. Self-fertile. Zones 8-9.
