This blackberry may make you re-think blackberries in the edible landscape—it's thornless and very attractive. Hall's Beauty Thornless Blackberry is a trailing floricane that produces high yields of medium, firm fruit with outstanding flavor. They're excellent for eating fresh, in cobblers and desserts, or made into preserves. The fruits ripen earlier than Columbia Star, but later than Columbia Giant. Its multiple petaled flowers and pink buds are more attractive than most blackberries. It's early ripening reduces exposure to blackberry fruit fly "worms." Matures at 5-8 ft. A trellis or support is recommended. Zones 6-8. PPAF
