Asparagus plants are heavy feeders, and this new, improved formula gives asparagus plants the nutrients they need for strong growth. Gurney's Asparagus Food is an all-natural, slow-release plant food that promotes healthier plants—and that leads to larger harvests and more flavorful, succulent spears. It contains no manure or fillers, and won't burn plants. Made with a diverse mix of ingredients, it provides plants with the nutrients they need when they need them. Key ingredients include alfalfa meal (a source of nitrogen, calcium and potassium), kelp meal (a good soil conditioner and an excellent source of micronutrients, enzymes and plant growth regulators), molasses (a microbe-feeding energy source) and humic acid (helps make minerals more available to plants). Apply twice a year.
