Gladiolus are a favorite for late-summer color, and this showy mix of cream, soft pink. lavender, peach and yellow is sure to please. The tall spires of flowers add elegance and color to back borders—and they don't take up that much room. The flowers are also striking in cut-flower arrangements. Blooms open on tall 4-5 ft. stems from midsummer to frost. They're easy to grow and attract pollinators, while deer tend to avoid. For best results, plant in full sun. Gladiolus are winter hardy in zones 7-10. In zones 3-7, they can be grown as an annual, or the corms can be lifted in the fall.
