Bush-type plants produce heavy yields of pods with 3-5 richly flavored, light-green seeds per pod. The pods are easy to shell, and the beans are perfect for cooking, freezing or canning. Seeds can also be dried. The upright plants grow 20 in. tall and require no staking. They're easy to harvest and are heat and drought tolerant. A top, all-around lima bean for gardeners in the North and South. For a continuous crop, sow seeds after the last spring frost and plant successively every 2 weeks until 2 months before the first fall frost. 75 DAYS.
