Unlike quick-wilting blends, these baby lettuces were deliberately chosen for their durability both in the ground and after picking. The harvest holds for up to two weeks in a refrigerator. All have short stems, making them ideal "one-cut" selections. Harvest as whole baby heads or slice about an inch above the narrow bases for a bounty of uniform-size individual leaves. Big yields—some growers report double the weight per bed!
