Yellow Sweet Spanish Onion

Home Gardeners Can't Resist!

  • Heavy yields
  • Bulbs weigh up to 1 lb.
  • Long-day variety
One of our most popular onions season after season, Yellow Sweet Spanish Onion produces heavy yields of sweet, flavorful onions. The bulbs weigh up to 1 lb. and add flavor, sweetness and crunch to sandwiches and salsas. They're also tops for cooking. These onions store well too—up to six months. So you can enjoy homegrown onions in your favorite recipes through winter. Yellow Sweet Spanish Onion is a long day variety and begins forming bulbs when daylight lasts 13-16 hours and is best suited for northern gardens. Onions grow best when they are planted in well-drained soil and receive full sunlight for most of the day. 115 DAYS
