This multi-season beauty is lovely to look at and produces a luscious spicy scent that attracts Swallowtail butterflies by the droves. Tiny yellow blooms nestle into light green foliage in the spring and summer. In fall the leaves turn bright yellow for another season of beauty. Great for naturalizing. Tolerates clay soils, droughts, dense shade and deer. Grows to 8-12 ft. tall with an equal spread. Zones 6-7. 12-18in

  • Fruit: Female shrubs produce small red drupes (berries) in the fall which are loved by birds. However, must have male plant present to produce fruit.

  • Flower Form: Tiny aromatic yellow blossoms in clusters.
  • Soil Requirements: Well-drained, moist soil.
  • Growth Rate: Naturalizing, fall interest, borders.
