From its coppery-orange flowers to its evergreen foliage that turns bronzy in the fall, this shade perennial has lots to offer. Orange Queen Epimedium delights garden visitors with its colorful springtime blooms that attract butterflies, and its foliage provides wonderful color. Growing 15-20 in. tall, it works well as edging or ground cover in shade or woodland gardens. It can also be grown in containers. A long-lived perennial, it's deer resistant and drought tolerant, once established. It performs best when planted in partial to full shade. Zones 4-9.
