A top choice for those who want to enjoy zesty garlic for months. Nootka Rose garlic is an heirloom variety that produces medium-sized bulbs that are streaked with rose hues and have a strong, garlic flavor. This softneck, artichoke-type is sure to spice up your recipes! Stores well. Like other garlic varieties, Nootka Rose garlic is easy to grow in well-drained, organic soil that receives plenty of sunlight. Can be planted in the spring or fall and is ready for harvest in late summer. Dig the bulbs when the tops are completely brown and dried. The tops can be left on and braided into ropes for storage and decorations. Approx. 10-20 cloves per bulb.
