This colorful mix of three plants is sure to add color and texture to shaded areas. Grown primarily for their foliage, caladiums are some of the most colorful foliage plants for shade gardens. Their beautifully patterned, heart-shaped foliage comes in mixes of white, green and red hues. Growing 12-24 in. tall, they can be planted along walkways or the edges of flowerbeds. They're also a favorite for patio pots and window boxes. Caladiums are tender perennials and need to be moved indoors in zones 3-8 in the fall, or they can be grown as annuals. In zones 9-10, they can be grown as perennials.
