A more compact lilac bush, Minuet Lilac is ideal for smaller gardens. It's breathtaking when planted as a flowering hedge along walkways and property borders or as a backdrop for perennial flowerbeds. Minuet Lilac is a deciduous shrub growing 6-8 ft. tall with a 4-5 ft. spread. Its upright, fragrant, light purple panicles rise above the foliage and attract pollinators when they bloom in late spring. A floriferous variety, it produces plenty of flowerheads for a colorful spring show in the garden and for cutting for fresh flower displays. Like other lilac shrubs, Minuet Lilac performs best when grown in well-drained soil and full sun.
