A great perennial for a hummingbird, butterfly, container, bed or rock garden. Tango Hummingbird Mint's fiery orange, tubular flowers grow on spikes and lure honeybees, butterflies and hummingbirds to the garden. The leaves have the strong aroma of licorice and may be used fresh or dried to flavor tea. The fragrant flowers bloom from midsummer to fall. Growing 12-18 inches tall, the low-maintenance plants are drought tolerant, once established. Deer tend to avoid the plants. Performs best when planted in full sun. Zones 5-10.
