Long Handle Dipper Gourd
Ideal for Ladles and Dippers
Produces gourds with long, skinny, curved necks and round, bulbous ends—ideal for making into water dippers and ladles. Gourds grow up to 24 inches long. For straighter necks, grow the vines on a trellis. Gourds can be started indoors and transplanted to the garden after all danger of frost has passed. In warmer climates, gourd seeds can be directly sown into the garden. Harvest gourds when the stems have dried and before the first killing frost. 110 DAYS.
