Attractive, mildew-resistant foliage and fragrant, pale lilac flower panicles make Korean Dwarf Lilac a favorite for hedges and foundation plantings. Growing 5-8 ft. tall with an up to 10 ft. spread, this deciduous, flowering shrub produces light purple flowers in clusters 3-4 in. long. The flowers open in mid to late spring and attract butterflies and hummingbirds. This flowering shrub is ideal for mass plantings or planting in a row as a flowering hedge or along a property border. While Korean Dwarf Lilac is easy care and low maintenance, it needs good air circulation. For best results, plant in well-drained soil and in full sun. Zones 3-7.
