These carrots, with their deep orange, slender roots and green, strong tops, look picture perfect in a garden basket—and their taste matches their good looks. The 9-11 in. roots are crisp, extremely sweet and have no bitter aftertaste, even when grown in stressful conditions. They're one of our favorites for eating fresh. We like them better than Sugarsnax! Istanbul Hybrid Carrot is one of the easiest Imperator types to grow. Because of their long roots, Imperator types can be difficult to grow in less-than-ideal soil conditions. Istanbul, though, is well adapted and produces uniform roots. 75 DAYS.
