This is hands-down our best-selling cantaloupe year after year. Its compact vines produce 4-5 fruits weighing up to 18 lbs. each. Their flavor is exceptional—very sweet, aromatic and with a good melon flavor. For a large melon, Gurney's Giant Improved Hybrid Cantaloupe has a high ratio of flesh to seeds. Its deep orange flesh makes it very attractive to serve at picnics and in fruit salads. The melons ripen in early August—a week before most really large melons. This is a great variety to grow and to share with family and friends. 80 DAYS.

Plants will be shipped at the proper planting time for your area of the country using the shipping timeframes outlined below.
