- Mix of pink, white or red
- Fragrant, 6-8 in. flowers
- Blooms late spring to early summer
- Showy cut flowers
- Deer-resistant perennial
This pleasing mix of pink, white and red giant peonies are equally wonderful in both cut-flower bouquets and late spring borders. Peonies are classic, long-lived perennials. Growing 2-3 ft. tall with a similar spread, they bloom in late spring to early summer. The fragrant flowers attract butterflies, and the glossy, deep green foliage is very ornamental and stays attractive throughout the growing season. The Giant Peony Mix can be grown as specimen plants in mixed perennial beds, foundation plantings or even low hedges. Deer tend to avoid. Grow best in full sun to partial shade. Zones 3-8.
