Dinnerplate dahlias are treasured for their huge blooms—just one fills a vase. The Giant Dinnerplate Dahlia Collection features three varieties that offer outstanding color and form. It includes Motto (7-8 in. apricot-hued flowers with orange tips), Café Au Lait (fully double, 10 in., pink and white flowers) and Tartan (8 in., double, ball-shaped, red and white flowers). The sturdy plants grow 3-4 ft. tall and require minimal staking. Blooming from midsummer to frost, they make excellent cut flowers. Deer tend to avoid. For best results, plant in full sun. Zones 3-10 (lift in Fall in zones 3-8)

Plants will be shipped at the proper planting time for your area of the country using the shipping timeframes outlined below. We continually monitor weather conditions for extreme hot or cold and adjust shipping schedules as needed. Due to hot weather conditions, we are unable to ship most plant items in July and August. Items that are overweight will require an additional shipping charge depending on weight.
