One of our flavor-favorites, Garden Sweet Burpless Hybrid Slicing Cucumber bears loads of bitter-free, 10-12 in. long, medium green fruits with faint stripes and smooth, thin skin. It's our highest-yielding burpless variety! You'll have plenty of sweet cukes for slicing and fresh eating. In our taste tests, we preferred Garden Sweet's flavor over Sweet Slice Hybrid. Cucumber seeds can be started indoors and transplanted to the garden or directly sown in the garden. While some gardeners grow them in hills, others plant them near a fence or trellis and allow the vines to climb. 55 DAYS.
