A sport of Jack Frost, Emerald Mist Brunnera features green, heart-shaped foliage with wide, silver banding and a light silver dusting. Its forget-me-not flowers appear in mid to late spring. Growing 12-15 inches tall with a similar spread, it's a colorful choice for shade and woodland gardens—and grows well in containers, too. Deer tend to pass it by. Grows best in partial shade to full shade. Zones 3-8.
