Striking purple berries on graceful arching branches add interest to the late summer and fall landscape. The berries produced by this ornamental fruiting shrub are loved by birds. Before the berries appear, small lavender-pink flowers bloom in early summer. Berries are not for human consumption. Zones 5-8.
