Dahlias are treasured for their impressive flowers, and Café au Lait Dinnerplate Dahlias offers some of the most impressive blooms we've seen. The huge, up to 10-in., creamy white flowers are tinged with peach-pink hues that appear different each day. These unusually colored blossoms are usually darker toward the center and fade to an elegant, pale shade toward the outside. Florists are increasingly using them for bridal bouquets and other special arrangements. While the extra-large flowers resemble peonies, they have a long bloom time, often from summer to fall. Grows 48" tall. Performs best in full sun. Lift in fall, zones 3-8. Zones 3-10.
