- Small, spicy peppers
- Can be grown in a container
Quite possibly the showiest hot pepper plant we've grown, Chinese Five-Color Hot Pepper produces brilliantly colored fruits in purple, cream, orange, red and yellow hues. The peppers contrast beautifully against the green foliage that is tinged with dark purple. The small, conical shaped peppers have glossy, waxy skins and a very hot flavor. They can be used whole for pickling or chop them up to add heat to salsas, pastes and other recipes. Growing 18-24 in. tall, the ornamental plants look great in the vegetable garden, perennial garden or containers. 80-90 DAYS.
