One bite of this berry and you'll see why it's a favorite among home gardeners. The sweet, juicy, firm  fruits have an intense strawberry flavor, and they're beautiful too. The large, glossy red fruits have beautiful red interiors, so they're very attractive for fresh eating, desserts and freezing. The productive plants produce up to 1 qt. of berries per plant—so you'll have plenty for eating and preserving. Chandler Strawberry produces a large crop in the early to mid-part of the strawberry season. Broadly adapted to zones 6-9. PP5262
