Clump-forming, low-maintenance perennial adds color and charm –and attracts butterflies—to front borders and along walkways. Its 2-in., frilly, lavender-blue flowers bloom on sturdy stems from late April to frost, providing months of refreshing color. Finely cut, gray-green leaves provide a nice backdrop to the flowers. Growing 12-15 in. tall, Butterfly Blue Pincushion Flower's compact size makes it ideal for containers. It's also makes a charming cut flower. The easy-care plant is deer resistant and drought tolerant, once established. For best results, plant in full sun. Zones 3-9.
